Mark O'Connell and Dan Carter step back

Two familiar faces will be seen less around Lowther Road this upcoming season, as Mark O'Connell and Dan Carter take a step back from the team.

O'Connell, who has featured for the Sumas over 150 times, is set to move to Geneva, Switzerland, for work so will not be featuring this season.

Carter, who has also been with the Sumas for multiple years and was part of the promotion winning side in the curtailed 2020 season, has indicated he would like to spend more time with his family. However he will still be signed on with the club, and may feature if needed.
